As you might already know or don't know, you can connect your XBOX to your computer and share your internet connection. It is worth the try as you will be able to tweak and tune the communication to a game server or optimize ICR or P2P client communication!

This comes in handy for multiplayer games like HALO 4, Assassins Creed III, Need for Speed, FIFA, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Super Street Fighter, Left for Dead, Gears of War, Red Dead Redemption or Modern Warfare 2, to name a few.

Fix your XBOX Live Multiplayer lag via shared Internet connection!

You can connect your XBOX 360 console to XBOX LIVE via your Windows computer and use its internet connection. If you do so, you can get better control through the data synchronization process over the Internet. The advantage of not connecting directly to the router is that you can tweak and tune the sent and received data packages.

Still, you need to watch out as not every game has the same requirements of the data package size and related TCPIP functions. There are also many "hidden" fine-tunings & tweaks which will boost the communication with XBOX LIVE's servers, individual game servers or in the case you host a game.
